According to the Ministry, the vaccination will continue until the 20th of the current month in the 14 provinces of the country, and it will be carried out by 12,349 workers spread throughout 977 health centers, 793 mobile teams and 57 temporary medical points.
The desired objective is to vaccinate 2,781,000 children against polio and 2,494,000 children against measles.
The Ministry of Health intensified national vaccination campaigns in recent years to protect children from various diseases that arose due to the deterioration of health conditions during the years of the war that the country has been facing since 2011.
