Vietnam has closely followed the situation and shared the difficulties that people have been facing after many years of conflict, Hoai Trung said when receiving a delegation of the Palestine National Liberation Movement (FATAH) led by a permanent member of its secretariat Jibril Rajoub on Thursday.
The party official insisted that his country favors the just struggle for the basic fundamental national rights, self-determination, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian State and also advocates for promoting talks and peacefully resolving conflicts.
Hoai Trung further proposed a series of measures to boost relations of solidarity, friendship, and cooperation between the two Parties, States, and peoples.
Rajoub appreciated the support of the CPV, the State, and the Vietnamese people for the Palestinian struggle and also expressed the desire to strengthen bilateral solidarity and friendly ties.
Earlier, the FATAH delegation met with a representation of the CPV headed by Nguyen Thi Hoang Van, deputy head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations, VNA news agency reported.
