“The enemy is testing the defensive capacity of our forces every day and every night, and we can say that the front there is stabilizing and reinforcements are arriving,” Pushilin said in an interview with TASS agency on Friday.
“We cannot say that the situation has been resolved, it is still difficult, but I think there is every chance to gather forces and start liberating the territory using new reserves,” the Donetsk leader said.
Earlier, the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Luhansk People’s Republic, Vitali Kiselyov, stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are likely to attack in the Svatovo area, most likely at night.
One of their main objectives would be to take the strategic height to the north of the city, which would allow them to direct fire on Kremennaya and Severodonetsk, as well as Svatovo itself, and consolidate their positions in Krasny Liman.
