“Washington and its allies are trying to intimidate the international community into forcing it to support Kiev unconditionally, so we reiterate the warning to the United States about deeper involvement as parties to the conflict,” Lavrov said on Thursday in his speech.

“As for our military doctrine and the basis of our state policy in terms of nuclear deterrence, they remain unchanged,” the head of Russian diplomacy stated when speaking to the participants of the forum.

“The attempts of Washington and its vassals to distort reality and misrepresent our position are aimed at intimidating the international community and making its sensible part follow the failed course of unconditional support for Kiev in all its adventures,” Lavrov stressed.
