According to local media, Xiomara castro posted on Twitter her most sincere congratulations to Lula and the Brazilian people for the democratic participation and positive results during the voting day.
“Run-off will be one of victory and celebration for Brazilians”, Castro added.
Lula Da Silva, with 99.9% of the votes, went to runoff in Brazil supported by 48.4%, being most voted presidential candidate.
Meanwhile, the ultra-right-wing Jair Bolsonaro received a 43.2% support.
Brazil´s run-off in is slated for coming October 30.
