Because of this, health authorities considered this Costa Rican man´s infection as imported case, who went to hospital on September 27 and was diagnosed on Monday by a PCR conducted by the Costa Rican Institute for Research and Teaching in Nutrition and Health.
He experienced symptoms as fever, headache, myalgia and rash in the thorax, arms, legs and genitals. He is not currently hospitalized though.
Health Ministry is continuingly monitoring his clinical progress, direct contacts, traceability and isolation.
