With a total area of 2,300 square meters and a processing capacity of 6,500 cubic feet per minute, the site includes a production area, warehouses, and administrative offices.
The plant can fill 970 cylinders per day, some 25,000 per month, equivalent to 25 percent of current national consumption.
The factory complies with the safety requirements established by institutions such as the Ministry of Health and the Fire Department and the national production strategy for this important gas, media reported.
This strategy also includes installing oxygen generators, which are already operating in several hospitals in Managua and the country’s other departments.
