In a statement, the Panama West province chapter of the National Coordinator of Solidarity with Cuba sent a support message to the Cuban people, government and Communist Party at this time facing damage caused by the passage of Hurricane Ian.
A solidarity embrace, with the certainty that Cuba will face this difficualt moment with courage and unity of its people, and it will emerge triumphant again as it has done for more than 60 years, fighting off nature and U.S. imperialism, according to the statement.
Pinar del Río province was the hardest hit by Hurricane Ian, where two people died and numerous ravaged houses were reported.
