According to the Guatemalan embassy in Havana, Guatemala´s Foreign Ministry keeps constant communication with 52 nationals residing in Cuba. All of them are in perfect conditions and their situation is being constantly checked in case of any pressing assistance.

The President Alejandro administration reaffirmed its commitment to provide protection to Guatemalans abroad, while reiterating its deep solidarity with the Cuban people and government amid these difficult times due to the natural disaster,” according to a press realese.
