The delegate of the Ministry of Tourism in Ciego de Ávila, Iyolexis Correa, pointed out that in the Jardines del Rey destination, 17 points will operate in different hotels, in which office workers and the more than three thousand national tourists can vote.
The vice president of the Provincial Electoral Council, Marleny Báez, specified that the polling stations, located in central areas, are made up of workers from the hotels themselves and meet all the conditions, as reflected in the Law.
She pointed out that the staff, mostly young people, show responsibility and respect, since they were previously trained to exercise their function as electoral authorities and studied the documents on the democratic process.
She added there will also be special schools in the Military Construction Union, at the international airport, the Aguas Cayo Coco Company and in the popular camping base.
He also explained that voting points were opened at the Morón and Ciego de Ávila hotels, the Ramón Paz Borroto Defense Preparation School, the Roberto Rodríguez and Antonio Luaces hospitals, a ship from the Azulmar Navy and at the national railways.
She pointed out these spaces in places of transit have the purpose that people who for some reason are distant from their areas of residence can exercise their democratic right according to the new regulations.
