The head of Syrian diplomacy stated this remark during his meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.
He called for guaranteeing the right to return of the Palestinian refugees and reiterated Syria’s condemnation of the practices by the Israeli occupying forces against the Palestinians.
The ongoing aggressions, settlement expansion, Judaization, siege, arbitrary arrests, forced displacement, and racial discrimination are all criminal and rejected actions, Al-Mekdad stated.
He reiterated that Damascus supports the State of Palestine’s application for full membership in the United Nations. The meeting with the Palestinian president addressed the latest developments in occupied Palestine and the ongoing Israeli aggressions.
