Concerning the deaths, three of them were unvaccinated people and seven inoculated. Five were women aged 40 to 107 years of age, and five were men aged 68 to 93.

The country´s overall death toll jumped to 5,095, although the death report may change as registration and codification of death causes are taken place, which could take several days. In the last 30 days, the Health Department has reported 150 deaths, at a rate of 5 cases per day.

Puerto Rico´s Covid-19 mortality rate in unvaccinated people for the last 30 days is 9.75 deaths per 100,000 unvaccinated people, 5.64 deaths per 100,000 without receiving a booster dose, and 1.53 per 100,000 after receiving a booster dose.

Meanwhile, out of the 232 people hospitalized, five less than Wednesday´s report, 204 are adults and 28 children.

37 adults and two children are admitted min ICUs and 16 adults and one child remain connected to mechanical ventilators.
