An IRENA´s press brief stated that, as part of the agenda of the Climate Week in New York, La Camera stressed these clean energies are the most economical avenue to generate electricity.

Likewise, La Camera added the renewable energies are the most appropriate way to guarantee resilience and energy security.

There is no doubt we´re entering a new energy system comprising renewable energy, power efficiency, green hydrogen and sustainable biomass, the IRENA director-general stated, while pointing out the question for the world is “whether we will get there on time,” noting this sector still needs stronger climate action.
