Surcorea, elecciones, Yoon Suk-yeol, ganador
United Nations, Sep 20 (Prensa Latina) South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol on Tuesday asked for UN and international community support to face up an alleged threat against his country.

In his brief speech at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA), the South Korean president apparently tried to gather support from UN against the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) nuclear program.

Without explicitly mentioning Pyongyang and its new regulations on preventive and defensive use of nuclear weapons, Yoon Suk Yeol spoke of alleged danger to international peace and security of what he considered the use of nuclear weapons.

In this regard, he repeatedly called on the UN and world leaders to stand together to defend global freedoms and peace that is under threat again.

In his short speech, President Yoon also called on the UN to take on a greater role in addressing challenges such as tackling down on the pandemic, wiping out coal dependence and developing new technologies.
