“We proclaim the return to respect for self-determination of peoples by strongly rejecting the infamous and brutal US blockade against the people of our sister Republic of Cuba,” Castro said at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA).
She laid stress on the need to seriously discuss on global multipolarity, and also added that “President Barack Obama took the first steps towards ending this disgrace”.
Referring to Venezuela, Xiomara Castro stated the Colombian President Gustavo Petro decreed aggression against the homeland of Simón Bolívar and Hugo Chávez must be ended.
