“Venezuelan government and peopla are victims of cruelest sanctions and coercive measures imposed by the United States and allies,” Faría posted on Twitter.
“This is how we explained it to the Secretary General of UNCTAD,” the diplomat reaffirmed.
Faría is participating in New York City in the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, where he has been maintaining an intense agenda of exchange with national delegations and international organizations since his arrival.
The Venezuelan diplomat also held talks with Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Gaston Browne, to whom he expressed President Nicolás Maduro´s willingnes to build an integrationist, multicentric and pluripolar world.
Both officials agreed to continue working on a common agenda for the benefit of the two nations, Faría tweeted.
Faría added the two countries have recently strengthened bilateral commitments in integration mechanism of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty, in addition to the energy cooperation links within Petrocaribe.
