According to the Cuban foreign minister, during a meeting with his counterpart from Portugal, João Gomes Cravinho, both parties showed interest in promoting economic, commercial and cooperation ties.
The contact took place in the context of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, whose high-level segment began today at the headquarters of that multilateral organization in New York, United States.
Cuba and Portugal signed last July a bilateral cooperation program in Science, Technology, Culture, Sports, Youth and Social Communication, for the period from 2022 to 2025, as a sign of the will of both governments to develop and expand relations of collaboration in the aforementioned fields.
