Signed by choreographer Nelson Reguera, the piece “looks at the personal experiences of each of the artists involved during the lockdown period,” Cubaescena reported.
Directed by dancer Rosario Cardenas, the company will perform for two weekends at the Bertolt Brecht Cultural Center’s Tito Junco Hall in Havana, it states.
It also highlights the importance of images as discursive tools in each scene to convey the experiences, alienations, deprivations, fears, and struggles of human beings in a period that proved the entire world’s strength.
This work demonstrates Reguera’s close relationship with the company, which previously staged the show “Deseo y Murmuro,” as he prepares a new season of collaborations that will begin with “Brutal.”
