Michel Fleury, president of the Vaud section of the Association, told Prensa Latina that Cuba’s solidarity was one of the main issues of the recently Third Romanian Day of Cuba-Switzerland Friendship.
Philippe Stroot, a member of the national coordinating committee of the Association, addressed during the forum Cuba’s altruistic vision in a keynote speech entitled “Cuba shares what it has and does not share what it has left over.”
According to Stroot, an example and a symbol of solidarity are the doctors who have assisted for decades other peoples, a free and unconditional aid experienced by many poor peoples in Latin America and Africa.
The Third Romanda Day, the so-called French Switzerland, ratified the rejection in this country of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba for more than 60 years, a siege tightened amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
