Located in an old mansion on Amargura Street, the institution will screen the interview conducted by researcher Alicia Conde, as part of the project “Cuban pedagogical thought in the first half of the 20th century.”
Likewise, the theoretical panel entitled “Enhancing the value of the Eusebio Leal House as a center of science and culture,” for the students of the San Geronimo School, will take place in the same building that promotes and preserves part of the heritage of Leal, who is also a PhD in Historical Sciences.
The last space Leal used as an office will also open its doors to the keynote speech on the legacy of Jesús Orta Ruiz, known as El Indio Naborí, by his son and researcher Fidel Alejandro Orta, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Cuban poet.
The event complements the program of the First Ibero-American Congress on Decima and Improvised Verse, to be held in Havana from September 28 to 30.
