Simancas exchanged with students and professors on the foreign policy of the Cuban Revolution and the international demand made at the United Nations General Assembly every year to end the long and genocidal economic United States blockade against the island.
The Cuban representative expressed gratitude for the solidarity of the Indian Government and people with the cause of the Caribbean nation’s people and highlighted the possibilities of cooperation in the fields of education and sports with deputy and professor Achyuta Samanta, founder of the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology and the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences.
