During the summit, on September 15 and 16, the leaders of the bloc’s countries are expected to review the activities of the organization in the last two decades and discuss the state and prospects of multilateral cooperation in the future, as well as current issues of regional and global importance.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the top meeting of the SCO, an intergovernmental body also made up of China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and Iran.
