In total, troops of the Kiev regime, only in these two directions, in the last five days suffered more than 12,000 casualties, of which, more than 4,000 died, Konashénkov said this Sunday at his usual press conference.

Likewise, the military spokesman stressed that the Russian air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian Air Force Mi-8 helicopter, two Tochka-U ballistic missiles and two HARM anti-radar projectiles, as well as intercepted 21 Himars and Olja multiple rocket launcher projectiles.

Konashénkov added that four unmanned aerial vehicles were also shot down in the air in areas of Tómina Balka, in the Kherson region; Snigirovka, in the Nikolayev region; and Kirillovka, in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

In parallel, the deputy head of the Kherson Area Civil-Military Administration, Kiril Stremoúsov, reported that the city is completely safe and the situation in that direction is stable, while units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffer heavy losses.

In addition, Stremousov stressed that everything possible is being done so that the smallest number of people is affected, and urged to remain calm.
