According to the daily report from MINSAP, all molecular biology laboratories in Cuba performed 1,895 PCR tests in real-time on Friday to detect the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
MINSAP added that 115 of 116 active cases nationwide are clinically stable, while one seriously ill patient is being treated at an intensive care unit.
The official report also states that 21 patients were discharged from hospitals, so the total number of recovered patients rose to 1,102,153.
With these statistics, Cuba has so far accumulated 1,110,858 contagions since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country in March 2020, and the death toll remains at 8,530.
