The head of the Russian civic-military administration, Alexander Volga, reported that the energy produced by the block cannot reach consumers in any way as a result of damage in the electrical network, caused by attacks by the Ukrainian forces, according to Moscow.

The sixth reactor of the plant is working on a partial regime and this day the decision will be made on whether it will be necessary to completely shut down the entire plant, after the results of the repair of the electrical network come through, Volga stressed.

Volga stated that the Ukrainian artillery keeps interrupting repair works.

The Russian military command and the operators of the nuclear power plant have been tasked with running and maintaining it safe and secure since last March.

The group of inspectors the IAEA, led by the general director of the entity, Rafael Grossi, toured the territory of the plant during the visit, accompanied by representatives of the Zaporozhye administration and specialists from the Russian company RosAtom. The report, however, failed to mention the damage caused by the Ukrainian forces’ attacks on the plant, as denounced by Russia.

The Russian military leadership spoke of partial damage detected in block two of the facility after a direct impact on its protective wall. Something similar happened with the sixth reactor, says the local press.
