Modi said that there is immense margin for cooperation in the field of energy.

The Indian leader also pointed out that India made significant investments in the Russian Far East in the pharmaceutical and diamond industries.

He also recalled that in 2019 he participated in this forum and announced India’s policy regarding Russia’s Far East.

Modi noted that New Delhi’s cooperation with said region of the Russian Federation increased in various branches, while his government’s strategy became an important pillar of the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership between India and Russia.

He also stressed that since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, India has emphasized the need to adopt the path of diplomacy and dialogue, and highlighted his support for all peaceful efforts to end the confrontation.
