Ankara, Sep 7 (Prensa Latina) The Defense Ministry of Türkiye on Wednesday confirmed the departure of four other ships laden with grains from Ukrainian ports, within the framework of the food pact.

Shipments of the product from Ukrainian ports continue and during the day four ships with grains sailed from Ukrainian ports, the agency posted on its Twitter account.

On July 22, Russia, Türkiye, and the United Nations signed an agreement to unblock the exports of grains and fertilizers from Ukraine amid hostilities.

Ukrainian government officials inked a similar document with Ankara and UN representatives.

In addition, Russia and the UN penned a memorandum to contribute to exporting Russian fertilizers and agricultural products to international markets.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, in turn, announced the creation of the joint coordination center to ensure the safety of bulk carriers transporting grains from Ukrainian ports.
