The Ukrainian government sought to infiltrate its spies into the IAEA delegation visiting the facility, said Vladimir Rogov, head of the ‘We are together with Russia’ movement and member of the Zaparozhie civil-military administration.
The Ukrainian security services (SBU) attempted to infiltrate their agents into the agency’s mission under the guise of press workers under direct order of President Vladimir Zelensky, the official said.
The director general of the IAEA, the Argentine Rafael Grossi, toured the facility and, after collecting the necessary data on the saftey of its operation, reported that eight experts from the body would be staying permanently.
In addition, Grossi announced that he would meet with residents of the city of Energodar, subjected to artillery fire by Ukrainian forces in recent weeks, which have also targeted areas near and around the nuclear plant, located near the city.
