Canada’s Swoop airline will extend winter flights to Cuba

Aerolínea-Swoop-de-Canadá
Ottawa, Aug 31 (Prensa Latina) Canada's main budget airline, Swoop, reported today that it will extend its winter schedule to Cuba with new routes, frequencies and services.

Swoop will start its new season from January 11, 2023 without stops between the city of Toronto and the resort of Varadero -western province of Matanzas- and in its promotions it includes the option of combining flights with all-inclusive resorts or hotels.

The airline’s Sales and Distribution leader, Tia McGrath, assured that Cuba tops the list of vacation destinations for Canadians, as part of its expansion to the Caribbean, and also reaffirms its commitment to the region through more convenient rates.

For his part, the director of the Cuban Tourist Board, Lessner Gomez, pointed out that this new association means more tourist capacity for the island.

As part of its winter schedule, the company will restart service to some popular routes, such as Cancun, in Mexico.

The company has also partnered with The Special Travel Corporation, whose travel agents book customized packages with low-fare flights.

Established in 2018 as an independent subsidiary of the WestJet group of companies, the association offers scheduled service to destinations in Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.
