According to Alma Mater magazine, the central theme of the conclave, to be developed in the mixed modality: face-to-face and online, will deal with digital infocommunication in educational environments, at the headquarters of the José Martí International Institute of Journalism and with transmission through the digital platforms accessible from the largest of the Antilles.
The event will also have an international scope and university research students or those interested in fields related to journalism, communication and digital information in both national and foreign training fields may participate.
In addition, graduates of the higher level undergraduate with a graduation date up to two years before the current one (2020-2021) and after presenting their thesis or research related to the topics to be discussed in the scientific conference may participate.
The aspects to be debated will abound on the best way to educate for citizen participation and collaborative learning in social networks, education, journalism and digital infocommunication with perspectives of inclusion.
Well-being in post-pandemic academic and virtual environments will also be addressed.
The appointment represents an ideal option after the health situation created by Covid-19 to promote the interaction of specialists and trainees from various universities in vital aspects of journalism, social communication and networks.
