According to the French agency, Covid-19 incidence rate reached 181 per 100,000 inhabitants, well below the rate reported at the beginning of the month (500).
The country´s hospitalization toll decreased (14,694), 235 less than those reported on Monday, while 854 patients remain in ICUs.
On August 1, there were 20,63 hospitalized patients and 1,205 seriously-ill.
Concerning deaths, the agency reported 72 new deaths, bringing France´s death toll to 154,39.
