Speaking to RIA Novosti, the diplomat ratified the message from the organization’s director general, Rafael Grossi, who announced on Twitter that the team of experts is already on its way and should arrive at the plant area by the end of the week.
Ulyanov specified that Grossi plans to permanently leave several representatives of the entity in the Zaporozhye plant.
He also explained that the mission roster is made up of some 15 people in charge of nuclear security, who are accompanied by a team of United Nations professionals in logistics and security.
The diplomat previously revealed that the team would also be made up of technical personnel from the RosAtom Russian company, a world leader in the nuclear sector.
Ulyanov added that the situation at the plant, the security and the measures to be taken will be evaluated during the visit, and then recommendations will be made.
