The Palestinian Prisoners Club denounced in a communiqué that the IPS isolated several prisoners and cut off the power supply from several jail cells.
In addition, it stated that additional forces, including many police dogs, were sent to those prisons.
The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority also reported about the reinforcements sent to the prisons and rejected any attack against the detainees.
According to Qadri Abu Bakr, head of that Authority, there are signs of a planned attack to put an end to the protests, which, he affirmed, could cause several fatalities.
The demonstrations began in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip this Friday, in solidarity with more than 4,500 compatriots imprisoned in Israel.
