The state Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation reported that the spacecraft took off vertically from the Jiuquan satellite launch center (northwest) after inspection and maintenance.
It then completed the suborbital flight according to established procedure and landed “stable and horizontal” at an airport in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
The vehicle combines space and traditional aviation technology, was revealed by China in July 2021 and has since undergone multiple evaluations and maintenance operations.
Suborbital transport is one of the objectives of the different space agencies around the world and the X-37 of the Boeing has accumulated several missions successfully completed since it took off for the first time in 2010.
