The Cuban president today presided over the analysis of the management of the Government of the municipality of Camajuaní in the central Cuban province of Villa Clara, in relation to science, technology and innovation through local development.
He urged to increase links between universities and state agencies and to consult with research centers both in agriculture and in entities that produce meat and canned foods.
He praised the producer Germán Broche dedicated to various crops on his El Combate farm, who has put into practice the installation of solar panels and distributes his production to the education sector.
The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba toured the municipality of Camajuaní, some 25 kilometers from this city, and visited the Julio Antonio Mella cooperative dedicated to the production of vegetables and is building a mini-factory to process these products.
During his tour of Camajuaní, Díaz-Canel spoke with residents of the town of Vueltas, exchanged with producers and visited the fingering production center for the Minerva dam.
