Curiously, those proposals were submitted by the same companies that competed in the previous process: the French-Colombian consortium Metro de Medellín and Transdev company, and the Sao Paulo Metro, from Brazil.

Roberto Custode, president of the commission that will assess the offers, stated that the main parameter this time will be the economic proposal.

Both companies have in their favor that they are among the major ones in Latin America with years of experience.

According to the new plan, the proposals will be assessed between August 27 and 31, the negotiation agreement will be signed on September 3 and 4 with the selected company and the contract will be signed on October 5.
