“Vietnam has always admired the combative and heroic spirit, the firmness and faith in the victory of the Cuban people,” the Vice Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh affirmed, who also expressed his full conviction that Cuba will once again know how to recover from the difficulties and move on.
Representatives of more than a dozen firms delivered donations for a total amount of 3.2 billion dong (around 136,000 dollars) and 4,000 Euros to the Cuban ambassador to Vietnam, Orlando Hernandez Guillen, as a contribution to alleviate the damage of the incident at the supertanker base.
