The two chiefs reviewed recent events in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank during a meeting in the southern suburb of Beirut,
They also made an assessment of the battle that took place against the Israeli occupation at the field, political and media levels.
Nasrallah and Al-Nakhala discussed the various developments in the region and the expected roles of the various parties in the axis of resistance in the next stage.
The meeting took place a week after the aggression launched by Tel Aviv against the Gaza Strip, which left 49 dead and at least 360 people wounded.
Two days after the aggression, on August 7th, a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip stopped the Israeli attack, in full compliance with the demands of the Islamic Jihad movement.
Last Tuesday during the act for the fortieth anniversary of the founding of Hezbollah, Nasrallah emphasized the positions of solidarity with the Arab peoples in the future and pointed out the capacity of the Lebanese Resistance to assume the consequences “because this is a correct position”.
