Under this principle, the Ministry of Health (MINSA) of the country is strengthening care for inpatients in care centers with the delivery of multifunctional beds.
Four hundred beds equipped with anti-decubitus mattresses, costing more than 13 million cordobas (about 315,512 dollars) were distributed recently, the MINSA reported.
This is the third delivery of these modules to departmental, regional and national reference hospitals, aiming at strengthening the response capability of the institutions.
“This helps us a lot, both for patients for their quality of care, and it also helps us on the medical side to position the patient,” sector authorities told the press.
The government of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, headed by President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo, is committed to the restitution of the right to health of thousands of Nicaraguans.
