The news portal pointed out that Said Zeid was shot in front of his house, located in northern Kafr Qara city, when he was about to leave for work, without the causes of the crime being known so far.

At present, Palestinians make up 1.9 million individuals, almost 21 percent of this country’s population.

That minority has experienced an increase in violence in recent years, mainly driven by organized crime, amid criticism of the passivity of the police in dealing with the problem.
