On Twitter, Lazo conveyed his solidarity to the Paraguayan politician in face of Lugo´s health conditions that has kept him in ICU since past Wednesday.
According to a Dr. Jorge Querey´s statement on Saturday, “Lugo has progressed positively over the last 18 hours, showing stable and encouraging signs, although specialists keep a guarded medical condition due to the disease severity.
Despite Lugo´s stable progress, the medical team decided on keeping Lugo sedated and monitored for 72 hours, a period that coincides with a possible treatment change.
