According to the daily report from the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), Cuba has so far accumulated 1,109,259 contagions since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country in March 2020, and the death toll remains at 8,529.

According to the official report, 630 patients are in hospitals or at home nationwide, 232 of whom are suspected cases.

At a press briefing on television, MINSAP added that 112 patients were discharged, so the total number of recovered patients rose to 1,100,273 (99.2 percent of all cases).
