Five days after the incident broke out, the Cuban leader stated that being in front of a “controlled fire, has a really powerful content because there is so much courage in that fire extinction control.”
After reviewing the pressing actions to put out the flames, Díaz-Canel stressed there is a heroic effort laying in these actions, a really deed.
It is a real odyssey that will have to be told, for its courage, heroism of all those deeply involved in its extinction process, he added.
The Cuban president also pointed out that haters on social media spoke about a “failed state”, of a “country in crisis”. Díaz-Canel, however, cleared up that “failed state”, and that “country in crisis”, the Cuban people, their specialists, in collaboration with its sister nations, has managed to control the death-leading fire.
