Since June 29, the Lebanese people have been waiting for the integration of the cabinet, after Najib Mikati’s reelection as prime minister, and in view of the short period of the administration, as consultations in Parliament for the position of president will begin next month, which will require a new Council of Ministers after October 31.
In view of this scenario, Talal Arslan, head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, demanded to form productive governments, with programs and accountability before public opinion, in order to achieve the nation’s stability.
During the 5th General Conference of the party, the leader of that political force called to move away from corruption, waste, jokes and patronage to determine the destiny of the country in the coming years in light of the current collapse.
At the same time, parliamentary blocs, religious leaders, political parties and movements demanded to comply with the constitutional plan and leave aside individual disputes to work in favor of national interests.
