At a meeting with Palestinian Ambassador to Lebanon Ashraf Dabbour, the Cuban diplomat ratified his solidarity with the brother people in the face of Israel’s crimes and attacks on the occupied territories.
Leon reiterated his condolences for the death of Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was assassinated on May 11 while covering an Israeli raid in the Jenin refugee camp, in the north of the occupied West Bank.
Ambassador Dabbour thanked Cuba for the shows of support, while highlighting the brotherhood that exists between the two peoples.
On the occasion, the two parties advocated strengthening the existing solidarity and cooperation between Cuba and Palestine.
