CARICOM backs the Cuban government and people following the disastrous fire in the Port of Matanzas, according to a CARICOM´s statement.

“We offer our condolences for the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the dozens of injured people.”

“We stand up in solidarity with Cuba in its attempt to cut damage and we offer our assistance to our long-standing friend and partner to overcome this setback, just as Cuba supported us in other complex situations.”
