The projections are supported by the positive results of that sector until July 15, when sales abroad amounted to 20.4 billion dollars, an increase of 19.7 percent compared to the same period of 2021.
The Vietnamese textile industry currently has some 14,000 businesses and they are employing more than 200,000 laborers.
In the first half of 2022, the production rate increased 4.5 percent, and garment manufacturing rose 11.4 percent, compared to the same period last year.
Vietnam’s textile products were shipped to 55 nations and territories worldwide, 17 markets of which have generated revenues of more than 100 million dollars.
The United States, Japan, South Korea, Canada, China, Germany and Cambodia are among the main importers of these goods.
