During a religious activity, the leader of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance denounced that the US administration wages an economic, political and media war on Lebanon and prevents aid and loans.
Nasrallah expressed that the United States seeks to subdue any resistance in Lebanon, blaming it for being behind the hunger with the purpose of having it give up its dignity and in the interest of benefiting from gas and oil.
He stressed that the US government delays the improvement of electricity and the implementation of reforms in the country in favor of Israel, while the Lebanese wait for a solution to the crisis.
Nasrallah insisted that the Americans lie by blaming Hezbollah for the worsening of the citizens’ living conditions, and ratified the united position of the state and the resistance in the maritime dispute against Israel.
On this issue, Nasrallah pointed out that the atmosphere is positive and time is pressing, in an allusion to the response of the United States mediator Amos Hochstein on the issue of the southern sea border.
The Hezbollah secretary general also stated that the Americans prohibit national officials from buying oil, gas and gasoline from Iran, even in the country’s currency.
