The mission reviewed the progress of the construction of a 30-km road valued at more than 20 million dollars, which will support the inter-regional transport infrastructure in the northern province of Yen Bai, and will benefit some 12,000 people.

The delegation also assessed the plan to lay the foundations of another road in the Tan Yen commune, also in northern Lang Son province, for which a loan of around 10 million dollars is available and once completed, the project will benefit 10,000 inhabitants.

During its stay in this country, the Saudi delegation held bilateral meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Ministry of Finance, in order to discuss the development plans underway and other issues of mutual interest, the Saudi Embassy reported.

The Saudi Arabian Development Fund granted Vietnam preferential loans worth about 179 million dollars to implement a dozen projects, VNA news agency stated.
