The Department of Strategic Communications of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed the information that the first ship had left the port of Odessa for Turkey.
For its part, the Turkish Ministry of Defense also notified the fact and added that it is the dry cargo ship Razoni under the flag of Sierra Leone, transporting more than 26 thousand tons of grain and headed to Tripoli, Lebanon.
In previous days it was learned that the first caravan transporting Ukrainian cereals will consist of 16 bulk carriers and will be accompanied by drones, which will allow representatives of the Istanbul Joint Coordination Center to monitor the passage of ships via satellite.
